ABOUT US
The data your managers need, in their hands.
Workplace Reporting is a UK company built for multi-site operators. Absence data only helps when the people running your sites can see it and act on it. So every call goes on the record, and every record reaches your managers, in real time, on the dashboard and in the mobile app. We’re building compliance for multi-site operators, starting with absence.
01 · WHY WE EXIST
Recorded is not the same as useful.
Most operators record absence. Few can use it. It sits in notebooks, inboxes and someone’s memory, so patterns go unseen and triggers get missed.
We put it in one place, captured the same way at every site, and turn it into what a manager needs to know today: who is off, who is back, and who needs a conversation.
02 · WHY IT MATTERS NOW
The rules have moved. The record has to keep up.
Since 6 April 2026, statutory sick pay is payable from the first day of sickness, for every employee, whatever they earn.
Since 1 October 2026, most tribunal claims can be brought up to six months after the event, not three, so your records have to stand up for longer.
From 1 January 2027, the qualifying period for unfair dismissal drops from two years to six months.
A consistent, timestamped record of every absence, every return to work and every step of your policy is how you show you treated people fairly, and the same way at every site. We don’t give legal advice. We give you the record.
03 · BUILT WITH THE PEOPLE WHO USE IT
Most of it started as a client’s request.
Bradford Factor triggers. Holiday cover with a backup manager. Site-level access, so managers see only their own sites. A group view for owners and People teams. None of it came from a roadmap. It came from operators telling us what they needed, and that is still how the platform grows.
04 · WHO IT’S FOR
Built for anyone running shifts across sites.
Restaurants and hospitality. Where we started, with McDonald’s franchisees. Early opens, late closes, and rotas that change every week.
Retail. Stores with early starts, weekend peaks, and managers who are on the shop floor, not at a desk.
Care and shift-based services. Where knowing who is in before the shift starts matters most.
If your teams work shifts across more than one site, it works the same way for you.
05 · IN NUMBERS
Already on the record.
10,000+ employees on the record.
60 sites reporting through one line.
Around 300 managers with the data in their hands.
24/7. A line that answers every call, day or night.
